Rex | ADOPTED!

STATUS: ADOPTED

Rex is all boy!  This 9 month old, 40 lbs. hunk is fun, fun, fun!  Always happy, very playful, and loves toys, yep that’s Rex!  We think he’s a real water boy too.  He cracks us up during feeding time by frolicking in his water bowl!

Rex is getting antsy waiting for a foster or permanent home! He was transferred from Odessa, Texas to the Pet Adoption Center on September 18, 2020.  Upon arrival, medical staff determined that Rex was positive with the Distemper virus. He has been undergoing treatment and has greatly improved.

Currently housed in our isolation unit, Rex been dreaming of running, jumping and being able to stretch those puppy legs.  Are you able to make Rex’s dreams come true with a good game of tug-o-war and puppy chasing?  Maybe even a dip in the pool?  MSRPAC will provide all of the necessary tools, medicine and support that this amusing lil’ boy needs to be fully recovered.  Please contact us at to help Rex.

Special Requirements for helping Rex

  • Rex’s new “pad” cannot have other dogs, but can have cats, (although we are not sure how he feels about cats).
  • Rex is not able to be walked in areas where other dogs are socialize (we don’t want to infect other canine friends who may not be vaccinated).
  • Rex needs to receive medications twice daily.
  • Rex’s energy levels and eating habits need to be monitored and reported back to MSRPAC staff.
