Thank you for your interest in the MSRPAC Riverside Rover Programs!
Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center offers two types of Community Rover programs. Our Riverside Rover program allows local residents to take a dog for the afternoon, and our Rover Over program lets you take a dog for a night or longer. *Must be 14 years or older to participate. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Our Rover programs give our Center dogs a much-needed break from their kennels, and give you an opportunity to spend some time with an adorable, adoptable dog. You can take your dog-pal hiking, to a dog-friendly restaurant or just hang out in the park for a little fun in the sun! Additionally, our Rover programs provide valuable information for potential adopters to help determine whether a particular animal is a good for their household.
Appointments are required. With only a limited number of dogs available for our Rover programs, be sure to sign up early to secure your place. Once you request an appointment, we will email you the day before your outing with a selection of dogs available. Our Rover pets are available on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to respond with your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices! If you do not have a preference, we will choose for you. Dogs are subject to change, if this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Please fill out an application and we will set-up a date for your Rover.

When arriving at the Pet Adoption Center you'll get a quick safety debriefing, sign paperwork and to get acquainted with your rover buddy before you head out. Dogs can be returned anytime, up until 4 pm. Remember to have fun and take pictures - we love seeing happy pups! Don't forget to let everyone know your Riverside Rover is available for adoption.
