In 2023, as our community continues to emerge from the difficulties sustained during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re embarking upon a new era of outreach to help people as much as we help pets. The ASPCA estimates that more than 4.2 million pets are expected to enter poverty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic–nearly a 21% increase over pre-COVID figures, creating a potential crisis as pet owners across the country are forced into impossible situations where they can no longer care for their beloved pets as federal stimulus end, unemployment benefits exhaust and eviction moratoriums expire.

Your support today means we can continue our lifesaving work that provides a safety net for orphaned and homeless pets in transition, just as we have for over 126 years.
